SCHWEET! Much appreciated! :D :D :D Question: You said: wrong. There is three files. phpbb_users.frm phpbb_users.MYD phpbb_users.MYI these are found (for windows) usually at C:\mysql\data\ your_database_name. Where would they be on the server? PLEASE tell me that they'd still be present after deep-s...

Obviously you can double-check all information; un- and then re-installing both the database, and it's user's permissions (make sure you delete the phpbb user and password, as well.) You should also look into seeing if your hosting company has it as a preinstalled script (my host has a thing called ...

I'm using MySQL 4.0.something-or-rather, and it, someplace, should give you the availability to dump a backup. Even if it's to a localhost drive/ folder/ directory, you can just FTP it outta there faster than Kirk and his away team beating rump off of hostile terrain. poke around and look for someth...

The easiest way to post an image in the forum , is to hotlink it to a pre-exisiting imagem someplace ELSE online. Example: http://www.geocities.com/jrzyboi00/ant.gif This code is as such "" (Minus the spaces, of course.) Just drop the URL in ...

Whoa. Ah...uhm... Are you using an SQL-styled databasing system, that phpbb is "hosted" on? I know with my site, MySQL allows you to have multiple database "users" pointing to the same database. (i.e: say... phpb1 is a "user" on the phpbb2 database, and so does, "bbs") Maybe you can use this info, i...
