I have very little traffic, Barely a handful of us active.. I'm on a shared server.
They are upgrading this weekend from AMD to Xeon E5 processors (Dunno which) & SSD drives this weekend.

are celebrating the first Anniversary of my forum tomorrow. He has his own domain... We came upon the Idea of "site mirroring in case something happens. He has just about installed everything on his home server. Now for the biggie. is it possible, or how would we set up his copy to share the databas...

or has anybody ever tried hosting a Spreadsheet viewable and modifiable by their registered users? I'm doing a hobbyist electronics/swl/ham/ radio/electronics in general site, and was curious about possibly having something like a swl listeners database where users could input shortwave station name...

Just did the 3.2.8 update.

havent tested everything out, but everything seems to have went off without a hitch.
seems to be working so far, which is an accomplishment considering I know nothing about
programming..

I only have one country blocked. added it when I started getting with spammers trying to sell cheap metal detectors etc... It is highlighted in the selection menu. when I switched to 1.06, that country started getting in, But nowhere as bad as before... I've decided to block VPN access except for me...

Just installed 1.07.
On 1.06, I saw that it was letting a country in that I had previously blocked.
I hope this fixes it. :D

I'm on Hostgator. Using the Zed Attack proxy, theres a few things that should be locked down on the server for security reasons but arent.. speed out of the box was pretty slow, and took a bit of tweaking of the Web.config file to speed things up. also they want you to pay an upgrade fee for wordpre...

My board was running slow (Hosted on Hoastgater)...
It would take several seconds to load a page for me..
Turns out you can make some tweaks to the web.config file, and now my pages usually load within 2 seconds.
Might be worth looking into

If you do it as a tab, Can you mark it as "Statistics" on the same line as "Home" & "Board index"??!
