Limitation on subtraction? Hello rolling exploding dice 1d8!!-8 When I press "Roll the dice", nothing happens. This is true for -8, -9, -10 etc. While the integer is higher than the die type the possibility of explosions makes these possible. https://savagerifts.com/sr/viewtopic.php?p=67224#p67224 VV

I understand that it would be easier for users to just post all/multiple notations into a single one, but that's code-suicide, unfortunately. No one wants code-suicide. Playing with more notations.

Is it possible to use exploding dice in a Dice Pool?

I tried `15d6!!>5` but the end result was totaled rather than counting successes.

If you want them combined, into a single roll, you can add them in a single roll notation: 1d12+1d6 . That's the definition we went by and will probably stick with: one roll with one result. Thanks, good to know. To be clear: I am offering the input we have received from actual users on a live boar...

Another question...is there a notation that doesn't automatically add results but just displays the totals?

So if I noted 1d6! 1d12!

could it just display the results of each die and not add them together?

Is there a formula to choose the higher (or lower) of two rolls? for example: 1d12! 1d6! display higher result instead of total 1d12+1d6-L Thanks Mulsiphix. That will work if the rolling two dice (d6 & d12) but it doesn't hold up if you throw exploding dice into the mix, it will drop the lowest die...
