Re: Advanced Quick Reply

Under Internet Explorer 8RC1, any site using this quick reply MOD will need be added to the IEv8 Compatibility View list, otherwise typing, scrolling, entering be funky and annoying. But even worse, if you add a site to the IEv8 Compatibility View list, then it'll fall-back on the old and very slow ...

Re: Quick reply for phpBB3

Hi, I'm using the patched v1.6.7 version, .. the install didn't complain, but when I attempted to configure the settings in ACP panel, I receive; General Error SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Column 'config_value' cannot be null [1048] SQL INSERT INTO phpbb3_config (config_name, config_value, is_dynamic) VALUE...

Hey marcus.smith Definitely not! :) But take into consideration what saaiberke has said… I don’t think that this MOD v3.0.2 on ‘all’ install will have the same results, as there are scripts that modifies various related code that changes the end results… I’m not saying you aren’t re-creating the ste...

Hi marcus.smith I could understand how you may have problems reproducing if it weren’t for the fact that I know the related phpBB code (like phpBB redirecting system) weren’t tampered with (previous to this MOD) in my phpBB 2.0.21 install… And quote from saaiberke, “I just installed a brand new 2.0....

Thanks,

I understand entirely now, heh…

This is a great MOD, but because it killed sessions to the phpBB board, I didn’t want to ignore those loggings without better understanding them…

My connection I do have External IP address differ from my Internal IP address, but also I have a Router that makes my Internal IP address 192.168.x.y, but my connection and browser settings aren’t setup to be seen as masking with this MOD. That means I’m not running into troubles with this MOD and ...

Hi TerraFrost True, I do know you cannot block users by Internal IP addresses, for those are giving External IP addresses differ from their Internal IP addresses. I didn’t check into the details of this here MOD, I assumed that every logging indicates deny / block of user’s masking addresses and not...

Excellent MOD and working great, however… “When someone masks their IP address, there are two IP addresses at play. Their real IP address and their masked one. This MOD will try determine the real IP address and will block if the real IP address is different than the masked one.” The JAVA method nee...

I don’t mind troubleshooting this beta MOD, it is worth it… I fixed the redirecting issue to empty information screen, I made some minor changes for the MOD-author to look at and possibly implement if found to be problem-free for others and their setups… *** /login.php // Handle redirects if ( empty...

There are different conditions to reproduce that empty information screen, when it comes right down to it; it is the redirect part that needs to be fixed up.
