Re: [Beta] Subforums Plus

Well hello, long time since I posted here!

Has this mod been abandoned then? Not that I am interested in taking it over but it's a shame to see it go to waste!

Have not looked/tested the actuall mod myself yet but it seems to have some good feedback!

OK I have now released version 1.0.1Beta, I have fixed some minor bugs and updated the language files! I have also added two new features which I think will come in handy. These are: 1. You can now disable the MOD via the ACP! 2. You can set your own title should you not want the default "Glo...

Also I am closing this thread as I will be releasing this MOD shortly!

I have one more upgrade to do to the install and it's done.

Support will be given at www.tec2spec.co.uk/forum/index.php

You also do not need class="post" in the board_config_body.tpl, Also you are restricted to 255 characters anyway as the database entry is set at 255!

Also switch off the marquee effect and you will see your script don't work!

Hmmm I tried that but it didn't work! :? Also maxlength="10000" does not work when used with textarea for some reason, well it didn't for me! I had to use a javascript to get around that problem! Try setting the maxlength="10000" to something like maxlength="10" in the board_config_body.tpl file and...

Not to keen on your double announcement box myself, I think the text will look terrable if you have a lot of text to display and scrolling is turned off! Also if you have to much text it could make your index page look a mess caused by oversized announcement boxes! :? Just to add I have made changes...

Ok well back on topic, I have now published a new install which fixes a bug found by Lord Le Brand . So my thanks to him! I have also changed the admin global announcement box from an input box to textarea box! I did it this way originally but used an input box instead as maxlength does not w...

Why are you installing Alpha/Beta MOD's that are in development/testing if you don't know what your doing? You are filling this thread with questions of help instead of bug fixing and helping in the way of design, feature requests and other general comments! I recommend you wait until it's final rel...

Well yes that's easy to do. There is going to be no easy way of pleasing everyone because everyone is going to want it done to their likeing and to suite their board! At the end of the day if people don't say what it is they want to see or where I can make improvments then they will have to make do ...

Hmmmm that is very strange! I will look into this then, I am wondering if it has anything to do with the old install and people updating to the new???? As I said it works on other sites without problem so it should be just fine on yours! I will install a fresh board over the next couple of days and ...
