Analysing the javascript powering the gmail.com updater I have concluded it will stop at <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.write( new Date(1112439600000).toString()); --> </script> or Sat Apr 02 2005 21:00:00 GMT+1000 which was exactly when it hit 2GB, on a second inspection t...

although if you had 1Gig worth of emails, assuming they were text only with no massive attachments (and even then still), you'd want some really efficient way of labelling the emails should you be interested in finding them again. my typical emails are 10 - 20kb, about 100 at max....so 1 gig is a cr...

Just one of google's annual April fools jokes. Google plays April fools jokes every year and it amazes me how many people actually fall for them so they would increase everyones storage by what is now 100 mb, thus many accounts will probably have over 1GB of files in their inboxes now, only to cut ...

Its a great game. I dont see how anyone could really think otherwise. I think it was a good game, not sure id say great. It just had so many huge design flaws that I have trouble seeing how it got rated as highly as it did. Note I dont own the game, but ive played through the singleplayer campaign,...

I recently read a survey showing that FF is FINALLY starting to make a dent into IE's dominance. Unfortunately, until that dent is significant, I doubt that Microsoft will put any effort into becoming more standards compliant. Until that happens, or until FF gets a majority marketshare, many of us ...

maybe...mozilla has had a bad habbit of not being able to cope bandwith wise with each new release. Its promising in that its that popular...but also bad in the fact that their servers are still being murdered each time they do a major release.

you could probably create 3 users with different accounts and then use phpmyadmin to manually change the email address so they are all the same. I dont think its a wise move and would encourage you to all use a different address. For instance what if a board member uses the forums to send a personal...

i agree with the last post. That idea might work in only allowing them to use AOL accounts, but what if a kid who uses AOL logs on and he doesnt have an email account with AOL (maybe its his dads account/computer and he wont let his kid create an email account). Id be very annoyed if i was a user fr...
