I'm trying to get an image tag to work inside a url. It works if i reference the file directly but not if its redirected from another file. Installing - Internal Server Error

I've tried to install phpbb both manually and using the one click install, and on both methods i can get to the advanced settings section of setting up then i get a internal server error, i can see the tables are created in the database up to phpbb_ranks, but not further. Ok. I didn't realise that. I'll try that when I get back home

Though what's strange is I've never had it set without the dot. I changed it from localhost straight to .midnighttempest.com


Edit: yep, clearing the cache worked

in the database the cookie domain has the dot at the beginning. Changed the cookie name and no difference. The cookie name in the database doesn't even appear in my cookies list

I can log into the board fine but when i try to access the admin panel i get the message "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed as you do not have administrative permissions." and get logged out, doesn't even ask me to reauthenticate I can do everything else such as moderator con...

Thats what it was using originally before i change it to read only. Checking permission masks for that user with the forum as new registered as its roll show it as yes

The new test account says it has yes to both permissions. how do i find out where that permission is coming from
