Though the first few hundred rows of the text file showed up as "0.0.0.0", the rest was the exact list I needed! Thank you SO much!! :D

You should seriously submit this as a mod!

Backing up IP banlist

Is there a way to back up the IP banlist as a viewable text document so I can manually re-input them on an invision forum or a VB forum?

Re: ...

What type of file was it.. the extension? This would help alot. I'm... not really sure. I was away when it happened. All the screen shots I have were given to me by members who saw it :( Still, the hacker said he was exploiting an "easily fixable security bug". Can you think of any? (I'm running ve...

We had to delete it, it was causing error messages like this: http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/1742/fixthis3gi.png The hacker who did this says there's a simple security problem allowing him to do this. I've already upgraded to 2.0.21, so I'm not sure what that could be :( as for includes/usercp_a...

Disable quicktime avatars?

Someone signed up to my board and uploaded a quicktime avatar that caused all sorts of error messages to pop up. I had no idea it was even possible to upload a quicktime avatar :?

Does anyone know how to prevent/disable this?

My banlist was deleted by a hacker. My server has several mysql backups stored on it. Would restoreing on of these backups get my banlist back?

Do you still have access to your database? If so you should be able to delete any banned IPs and regain access to your board. Unfortunatly, accessing the board isn't the problem. The problem is that after a mod got back in and fixed the first problem for us (first problem being that we were all sud...

I will use my own address as an example in my post: Do a trace on his IP. That is, click on the IP number in the admin panel, like 24.141.109.234, and click the 'trace' radio selection, and submit. Look for a line like this: Host name: d141-109-234.home.cgocable.net Note the home.cgocable.net part,...
