Go to your phpBB2 folder on the server using ftp and open that folder. Inside are lots of other folders and some files. Open the folder templates and you will see the one called subSilver . you dont even have to edit it. Go into the subsilver directory and i think there is a directory called logo and you click on that and there is a file called logo_phpBB.gif . Check lang_main.php for the languages you have installed on your forum, you will find the charset and encoding defined near the top of the file. Your remote server is wherever your forums are hosted. You will upload your smilies via FTP to the folder it shows in that window.
