Nope.

That's by design, the customer wanted it to be this way.

You can open a forum named "Social activities" and use the topic's subject instead..
.. to define those nights or whatever else related to such activities.
Thanks.

Re: [3.2][BETA] Calendar Events (w/karma)

Hi, The extension works wonderfully. I've noticed that the event type information is derived from pre-existing forum category names. Is there a way to manually input different event types? For example, I would like event types called "Poker Nights" and "Chess Nights", for social activities (unrelate...

Re: [3.2][RC] Log Connections

I have had it running on a live board for years Thank you. I have just installed your extension. Excellent work. An interesting observation is that the user's logout IP address is the IP the user had registered from, months or possibly years before - not the ip address logged out from. Thanks again.

Beginner to extension development

Hello everyone, I'm interested in coding phpBB extensions having previously coded with PHP. How advanced a PHP (and MySQL) programmer must one be to develop extensions even at their simplest? Also, is there a guide to understand the preexisting variables defined by the PHP software to help with exte...

Re: [3.2][RC] Log Connections

Impressive extension.

My forum is currently subject to a few returning trolls. Is it relatively safe to install this on a live board without a detrimental error occurring?

Restricting Posting to Subforums

Hello, Is there a way to disable posting on viewforum.php and to restrict posting only to subforums? For example, My forum has a title called computers and I would like all posts to be made in the subforums: Acer, Asus, Dell, Apple, HP, Toshiba... (visible on viewforum.php). This is while disabling ...

Perhaps people are now used to typing a few words and pressing enter.

I rarily encounter logins without having passwords involved - do you have an example?
In the past I've made search bars functional but until now I've never tried password systems.

phpBB's login has also a target address in its form's action attribute. Imitate it using the same address. Done.
Thank you. I thought differently because a password was involved.

Open the forum the topic is in
Click the MCP (moderator control panel) link
You'll get a list of tick boxes down the right of the screen
Tick the one next to that topic
Choose delete at the bottom and submit.
Thank you. This worked perfectly.

Classic example of why not to use a third party service. I'm not sure what can be done if they have their own Terms of Service.
