Download links on viewforum.php

I"m not sure if I'm going about this the right way - so if there's a better way, let me know. I'm hosting a few PDF files for a community that needs to have access to them. Members can download the all PDFs, and non members can download all except the most recent. RIght now, I have it setup so ...

Re: Suppress Database Errors

Thanks 3Di, good thinking. $error = validate_data($data, array(                 'new_username'            => array(                     array('string', false, $config['min_name_chars'], $config['max_name_chars']),                     array('username')),                 'new_password'        => array...

Re: Suppress Database Errors

Bump.

Has anyone figured out a way to add a user to the database without causing a page error to be displayed, and instead a number returned?

Re: Back button kills IE session

First off, thanks Kevin, glad we could clear that up. If I had read that Fantastico installation wasn't going to be supported I wouldn't have gone that route. I'll be sure to install manually in the future. What I can say is that other boards I've installed through Fantastico don't have this problem...

Suppress Database Errors

Hi there, I'm writing a custom script, which adds a user based on a paypal notification. I've gotten the 'good' cases down, and I'm working on the error handling - in the case a username has been taken or is invalid. In the case where user_add works, it returns the user_id of the added member. When ...

downloading the tar.gz version

I'm sure everyone knows this obvious answer, but i'm new to linux. If someone could just point me in the right direction of how to do this from command line linux, i would really appreciate it.

thanks in advance

I never marked this as abandoned, and I dont plan to, however, I just haven't had the time to develop this (or other) MODS....
