Re: Cannot send emails through Google SMTP

There's a very simple test to see if the port's open or not. Make a text file, name it test.php, and put this in it: <?php $fp = fsockopen('tls://smtp.gmail.com:587'); if(!$fp) {     echo 'Unable to connect'; } else {     $response = fgets($fp, 256);     echo 'Response: ' . $response; } ?> Upload it...

Re: Random Account Switching

Most browsers have some kind of developers tool section which will show them, usually under the network section. It varies by browser.

Your site is definitely using Cloudflare. These are the headers it sends back: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Sun, 07 May 2017 00:01:19 GMT Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Transfer-Encoding: chunked Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: private, no-cache="set-cookie" Expires: Wed, 03 May 2017 21:33:15...

You have offsite avatars enabled. If someone with an insecure offsite avatar has triggered a notification, their avatar will be in your notification menu making all the pages you visit get flagged as having mixed content. I also see offsite posts from sites like photobucket that aren't using https.

Re: Security Breach in 3.1.10?

We run Varnish on this server, and as I mentioned in your linked topic, there are just a few things we cache with it. You can't just blindly install Varnish in front of dynamic sites and expect it to work. There's always a bit of tuning involved for dynamic sites.

Re: Security Breach in 3.1.10?

Check the Who Is Online page and see if everyone has the same IP. If they do, that means your host has installed a transparent proxy or activated something like CloudFlare.

Re: SMTP with MAILGUN: Anyone got it working?

According to the error message, certificate verification is failing, which means that the certificate store PHP is using doesn't have those root certificates in it. You or your host will need to look at your PHP settings and see what certificate store is being used. Then make sure that it exists and...

The null cache driver was renamed in phpBB 3.2, are you actually using 3.1? Also, what version of PHP are you using?

Which rule of yours is being triggered? From your description, it sounds like it's intended to flag on the keyword GLOBALS as an attempt to prevent abuse of $GLOBALS . However, it seems that your rule also triggers on variants of it, such as register_globals , which is what is actually being sent in...

Re: phpass behavior on hashing passwords between WordPress and phpBB

phpBB no longer uses phpass, though we never supported the blowfish format of phpass. In phpBB 3.1, we moved to bcrypt and continue to use it: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/blob/3.2.x/phpBB/phpbb/passwords/driver/bcrypt.php While phpBB can support the $2a$ format of bcrypt, yours uses a cost factor...

Re: Strange caching problem

I'm not going to apply this retroactively (to either group). This applies for any new post made in this topic. I want users who get a notification for this topic to know that it could be something of value to resolving their problem.

Re: Strange caching problem

Clearly I am not phrasing this correctly as it's being quoted and completely misinterpreted. I have split off the posts that are unrelated to the problem at hand. I will make this as simple and short as possible: I am not saying you cannot post here about your current problem. I am not saying take y...
