server load

My host has been shutting me down because of server overload, and they claim that the topic calendar is one of the things overloading the server. Has anyone else had this problem with this mod? I have a bunch of mods on my phpbb and I'm wondering if the combination of two or more caused this issue...

help: a user's private message has gone missing

I'm an admin at a phpbb board and I got a PM from a member saying he got an email notification that he had received a private message, but when he checked his inbox there was no message. I'm thinking maybe the sender deleted it from his outbox before the recipient could view it, otherwise I have no ...

That's troubling. I don't know how I could update any more fully than installing 2.0.17.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Thanks! What do you mean update, though? I'm using 2.0.17. I will be making a second admin account for safety though.

Help! Somehow I made myself not the admin!

I was making a group, and it asked me to assign a Mod. I didn't really want anyone to mod the group, so I figured I'd make myself the mod. Suddenly, I was kicked out of the ACP, and my username went from Adminny yellow to the generic user color. Now I cannot log into the ACP: it seems I have lost ad...

Oh man, I hope you can help me Nightrider (or anyone else)! The calendar is working great for me, except for one thing: my user permission controls are suddenly blank (I just noticed this over a week after installing the calendar - I wanted to give a member calendar permission, but I can't). Here's ...

Well, it looks like no one's reading this thread, or able to help. But I have another question: I've noticed that imported topic/threads are all marked "NEW," and no matter what I do I can't make them not new. I've clicked on the threads, I've clicked "Mark All Topics Read" numerous times, I've even...

Wish I could help you irpstrcr, but I actually have a question, not an answer. Is there a way to make the topic titles go onto a second line in the calendar cells instead of stretching the cell width? My forum style template isn't super-wide, so I have to keep the "length of title displayed in calen...

Okay, I solved number 2 above by editing the original post like I said (guess the ///' was not kosher to SQL), but I'm still wondering about how to get huge topic/threads through -- I completed the conversion, but the imported 58 page thread only has 15 of the 58 pages in it. Do I have to break up t...

Wow, I am psyched that this converter exists - I thought there was no way to convert from ezboard to phpbb! Thanks for this. Now, let's see if I can make it work! Here's the trouble I'm having: 1. I got this error a couple of times, with no explanation as to what I should do about it: Fatal error: M...

That's not the only difference in that file, as far as I could see... I just tried installing this (using easyMOD) in 2.0.16 and it didn't work -- got this message when trying to preview a post with right-aligned img: Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in xxxx/phpbb/includes/bbcode.php(90) : e...

I got it installed, I got it running, but it has frozen my browser a few times. It's probably nothing to do with the mod, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows of a solution. I'd love a java chat on my board and this is supposed to be the best, but if it doesn't even work r...

Wait! Nevermind, I see what I did now -- I put that fin: mod calendar thing in the middle of the thing, instead of at the end.

Sorry. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. I think I do understand the difference, and I think I got that line right. Here's what mine looks like now: $sql = "SELECT t.topic_id, t.topic_title, t.topic_status, t.topic_replies, t.topic_time, t.topic_type, t.topic_vote, t.topic_last_post_id, t.topic_first_post_id, t.topic_...
