Re: forum problem

As I said at the start, the permissions were wrong. You can't have a category set to read only and then give people standard access to the forums under it. That makes no sense. You can't allow them to only read at the top level and then give them posting ability below that. I just changed that top ...

Re: forum problem

Kev, are all the hierarchies ok? Something looks odd with those forums. they all look good but i don't understand what happened to me suddenly when i want to open a form in the gray category, it perceives it as a category and throws it to the home page as a form category. log in and try to open a f...

I just made a new category and a forum inside it on the index page at the bottom.
that's what i want to say;

You mean you select 'forum' but it actually makes a category? Never heard of that before.

How do you know it does that?
can I see if i give you my admin details? and try to create a form.

The ones that are grey probably don't have any permissions set on them to be seen.
In localhost, it's not grayed out, but that's not the problem, it doesn't create forums and when it creates it automatically detects it as a category and throws it to the home page.

forum problem

Hello, I want to add a forum from the category, but whatever happens, although I have checked the forum option, I automatically assign it to the category field, that is, the main page, and I can't create a forum.

Re: Session problem

it seems to be a problem with your ssl settings and cookie settings. do you have a ssl certificate installed on the server? if not, then you need to turn off cookie secure. if so, then there is something wrong with the way it is setup. check to see if you have cloudfare turned on in the hosting con...

Re: Amp

Your pages already load in a fraction of a second. I suspect the difference will be almost imperceptible. The amp is loading the project much faster, you know it. When something already loads in under 1 second, the term 'much faster' is extremely subjective. Uncomment this line in your config.php f...

What does Amp say?
Now, I want to speed up my site for mobile devices with the amp project, but what folder or file do I need to load the javascript codes that the amp project has given me?

Re: Page error

not an extension problem, I solved the problem, thanks. Glad you got it resolved. A little curious what the issue actually turned out to be then, since the un-closed </script> tag issue from the Viglink extension template still seems to be there. But ultimately if you're happy, we're happy. 😄 vigli...
