PHPBB Cron not running

Greetings. Recently, I've made an extension for my own to simplify one of my categories. Anyways, now since it uses the database and it fills it, I decided to create a cron job to delete the processed results once a week. So far so good. The main problem is, it is not running. I am using cron status...

Re: BBcode for tables

You just have to do 3 bbcodes. One for the table <table>{TEXT}</table> , another for row <tr>{TEXT}</tr> and the last for the column <td>{TEXT}</td> The bbcodes shall be as following: Table: [table]{TEXT}[/table] Row: [tr]{TEXT}[/tr] Column: [td]{TEXT}[/td] And you can use them like: [table] [tr] [t...

Cyrillic characters saved as ?????? in database

Greetings. I have an extension and I have records saving in the database. Although, when I insert cyrillic characters into, let's say, a text field, I store it into the database with $this->db->sq_escape or without, it doesn't really matter for the encoding into a latin1_swedish_ci and yet it stores...

Re: Including the Posting editor in custom page

Alright, so I got this working with the help from goldy and 3Di, although the only thing it does is visualize only and not function. Like, if I use any of the bbcode and post it, then it will just show up with the bbcode in the post. Let me give you an example: https://i.imgur.com/SqgnmGd.png https:...

Re: Including the Posting editor in custom page

I've tried including it, though something is missing. Anyways, will go through the posting functions. I was going to do this since the beginning, though just wanted to ask if somebody already has encountered the problem

Including the Posting editor in custom page

Greetings, what I want to do is include the bbcode editor in my own custom page, created in extension, for replies. How can I include the editor, without breaking the whole phpbb?

Re: [PHPBB 3.2.x] Gallery

You use it as it follows: Create gallery out of slides. Example: [gallery] [slide]https://via.placeholder.com/150[/slide] [slide]https://via.placeholder.com/350[/slide] [slide]https://via.placeholder.com/1050[/slide] [/gallery] Here are some images, because right now I am unable to record a video. T...

Re: Constants for tables in migrations

Welp, it just doesn't seem to allow me to use the constant itself, so I decided to use the container instead. And yes, I agree, it is much better to use the constructor dependency. Will edit it.

Re: Constants for tables in migrations

Alright. Here is the full solution for those who've encountered the same problem: Create tables.yml in your_vendor/your_ext/config folder Create the parameters for your tables. This works as it follows: parameters: your_vendor.your_ext.tables.your_table: '%core.table_prefix%your_table' (You can have...

Re: Constants for tables in migrations

Okay, if I understood this correctly, I have to create an yml file where my constants will be, so I will be able to use them. Let's say I do this: parameters: autumnshade.testext.table.david_table: %core.table_prefix%david_table And probably I will have to import it into the services, right? Like: i...

Re: Composer Installers for phpbb-extension

Greetings. Welp, let's make some clairvoyance, since I've went in-depth within this topic a while ago. FIrst thing first, the composer installers are probably for the third-party libraries(that's how I understand it myself), so we can manage the modularity of composer. (That's why it's package manag...

Re: Constants for tables in migrations

What I want to understand is the following: You create a migration, right? You create a table within the migration, let's say phpbb_david_table . I want to know if a constant like USERS_TABLE is somewhere created when creating the table and migrating it to the database? So the constant will be DAVID...
