Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

Thanks for this extension :) I was wondering, is it important that you set .headerbar to 'background-color: transparent;'? Perhaps it is, but I only ask because if it's removed then your extension is compatible with the Pycode theme. Currenly that line of css removes the colour of the header bar in ...

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

I’ve made a similar suggestion to the web guys already, thanks for the input ;) Thank you :) I just realized the full package page should probably also include a link to the article on how ot use it to update your board. I downloaded it and am now wondering what to do with it. (Actually I know ther...

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

Just a suggestion regarding the wording of your software package page (i.e.: https://www.phpbb.com/downloads/3.2/install ), from someone looking at it for the first time. In the "Install phpBB" tab (the first tab, which has the link to the full install package) it would be handy to note th...

Re: Updating to 3.2.8

Thanks for the quick responses! :) That puts my mind at ease. If there's a website feedback forum I'll post a suggestion that they tweak the package page wording to say that the full release should be used for most updates too. Currently it just says "This is the full 3.2.8 package which can be...

Updating to 3.2.8

If your board software is currently 3.2.7, is the best way to update to 3.2.8 still by downloading the complete package? I've seen a few comments saying you should do that (and that the automatic updates option doesn't work right), but the download tab for that package says it's for fresh installati...

Re: xsl code help for BBCode please

Does this new form of BBCode introduced in 3.2 have any proper documentation? I’m not certain much has changed as far as phpBB and BBCodes documentation is concerned. It’s the HTML replacements that are changing. So the use of xsl in BBCodes hasn't been documented? That's what I was asking about :)...

Re: xsl code help for BBCode please

Thanks for your response! I'm not sure I understood it all, but I'll play with the code till I do (I hope) :) Does this new form of BBCode introduced in 3.2 have any proper documentation? Just one example, from reading the comments of you and others I'm guessing that <xsl:apply-templates/> is used t...

xsl code help for BBCode please

Since upgrading our board to 3.2 I've been struggling to get our custom BBCodes working with xsl. By searching the boards and looking at solutions given to others I have most of them working now, but there are still a few things I don't understand. The major one for me right now is our code for a ht...

Re: Allow Site logo ( forum logo ) to be changed from ACP

Voted. I believe it’s a core need of any site to display their own branding, and I can’t imagine why any site would want to display the phpBB logo, which implies they’re a phpBB discussion forum and is downright confusing to visitors. I believe it would be better to ship no logo at all than the curr...
