They can use Quick reply, but not in conjunction with a challenge. Think about it.
I want the challenge. Do you know any mods/extensions that can achieve quick guest replies with a challenge?

I really think having this will engage more users on topics they can quickly respond to

Re: Enabling guest posting for phpBB 3.2

Hi, i have quick reply enabled on my forum. But it's not showing up for guests. Here is my ACP settings for this forum where I have guest replies working fine

Re: Enabling guest posting for phpBB 3.2

Back on this, is it possible to enable guest postings for quick reply and do a re-captcha challenge? I'd like to add a username felid as well.

Else, is there a supported mod that can handle this? I do like guest reply as it is now, but love the quick reply "feel".

Re: Script to create posts from txt or SQL file direct to phpBB SQL

So I'm looking at this for MySQL. It's the fastest way to load chunk of data into MySQL. Anyway the script could do it as such?

Re: Script to create posts from txt or SQL file direct to phpBB SQL

I noticed that after about 85,000 posts created (in about 20 minutes), each new post now created takes just under a second each. So it’s going to take much longer than I thought. I did optimize all the tables in workbench, but had no effect. It's a MySQL db. Just an fyi to anyone else. Anyone that h...

The script doesn't seem to have defined the ID of the Topic to which the posts need to be added.

it does, try it

Re: Disable email notifications column (globally) and add global post notification?

I don't want to disable activation emails. Just notifications..

When I am inside a forum, where is the option to subscribe located? I was hoping for a button or something. Pardon my ignorance..

Disable email notifications column (globally) and add global post notification?

Hello, I'm wondering the following: 1. I'd like to disable email notifications globally under "Edit notification options". I'd like to remove the the email notification column as such too. I prefer users coming to my site to check in their UCP settings for notifications :) CapturFiles.png 2. Is it p...

Re: Script to create posts from txt or SQL file direct to phpBB SQL

Makes sense...

Well I didn't realize this would be a bigger undertaking (I thought might be a post automater for such a situation). Any suggestions otherwise? I guess I would pay someone to help with this but not sure what it may cost

Re: Hide links in posts from guests or users without min. posts

This is working great but I can't do a rule for a minimum post count a user must have before seeing links. I've seen this before on phpBB forums. I have been looking around but I can't find anything?

Hi, thank you. Yes it the extension works perfect. Can't believe this wasn't at least an option by default.

Re: Script to create posts from txt or SQL file direct to phpBB SQL

I did an export of current posts from phpBB into a CSV file and I see these fields. If I build an xml similarly and import it, shouldn't it work the same? If I did, could I leave post/topic ID's blank for the system to generate? What would I need to put in for post checksum? Thanks post_id topic_id ...

Is it possible to show "Last Post" info on mobile view for prosilver?

I prefer to show the "Last Post" info for mobile view too but I can see why it would be hidden by default for cleaner mobile look. Is it possible to show this?

By last post, I mean these views next to forums in desktop views:
