Re: Admin's E-mail Address On PM E-mail Notifications

It's a small, local host, but all other e-mail functions seem to be working correctly. I'll check with them, to make sure, though, just in case. Thanks.

Admin's E-mail Address On PM E-mail Notifications

Hi, When someone responds to a PM on my board, the e-mail notification goes to the admin, rather than to the recipient of the response to the PM. The PM response itself, (and the original PM), are properly routed, as is the e-mail notification of the original PM - only the e-mail notification for th...

Re: Can individual topics be restored?

It was a poll, (about a month old), which wasn't crucial, but if restored, it would certainly be best in it's original form. It may be more trouble than it's worth. Here's how it happened: The original topic was moved to another forum, and then after it became inactive, it was moved back to the orig...

Re: Can individual topics be restored?

I appreciate the information. That's pretty much what I suspected would need to be done. It sounds like a good learning experience, so I may back up the database and then give it a try. Thanks for your insight.

Can individual topics be restored?

If a topic was unintentionally deleted, can an individual topic be restored from a database backup, using phpMyAdmin, (IOW, restore only the deleted data to the table data for php_topics), or will linked data in tables other than the php_topics table already have been overwritten by subsequent posts...

Re: overall_header.tpl

Make sure that you have properly uploaded the spacer.gif file to the templates/Morpheus/images/ folder, and that the spacer.gif file doesn't have any problems. Rather than removing the memberlist link, you would be much better off to just use this mod to hide the memberlist, usergroups, and profiles...

That's it. It was tacked onto the end of the configuration file. How did they do that, and how in the world am I going to prevent it in the future? Thanks a million. I looked every where but the configuration file. Wayne P S I had run the Toolkit security scan yesterday, but nothing turned up. Is th...

Since things seemed to have quietened down, I decided to close the board and back up the database. After I accessed the ACP, I got sidetracked on another project for a few minutes, and when I returned, and clicked on the "Configuration" link, to close the board, all that "drivecleaner" bs started ag...

Well, the security scan turned up absolutely nothing that looks suspicious. <sigh>

I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize that was an option. I've got an old version of toolkit, and it doesn't include a security scanner. I'll download the new version, and run it.

Thanks again.

Thanks. I ran the mod, but unless I missed something, all it did was to change the cookie name from phpbb2mysql, to perskyfarm_forum. My Current Cookie Settings: Domain Name: www.perskyfarms.com Server Port: 80 Script path: /phpBB2/ Cookie secure: Disabled Cookie domain: .perskyfarms.com Cookie path...

Sorry, my connection is so bad where I am, that my browser keeps hanging up on me. I finally managed to delete the duplicate post. Thanks for pointing that out.

Redirect to Drivecleaner site on login

Apparently my board has been hacked. Upon login, the browser runs through a bunch of site addresses, and then lands on "Drivecleaner", with a pop-up window warning that you have porn on your computer, etc., and offering a download to fix the problem. It won't quit, until you close the browser. When ...

Can you post a new copy of your list of masked IPs? Ya know - just so I can verify that there are indeed duplicates? I'm somewhat dubious of your claims because I do include code to guard against duplicate entries: I didn't say duplicate entries, I said additional entries of my IP address. If you w...

I put the "!empty" fix in the probe.php file last night, but it was still showing the empty parentheses when I logged on this morning, (about 8 hours later). This MOD doesn't currently delete anything from the saved list of "unmasked" IPs. As such, once you get a blank entry, you'll always have a b...
