if you guys stop being so damn arrogant and help the guy, he wouldnt need to bump it. All some of you seem to do, is point to the rules and bluff your advice, when you really know jack.

Instead of pointing out the rules, start offering some help.

dude.. my login.php file was corrupt. I fooked it up. so i replaced it. how the hell is that bad and wrong. EXPLAIN ?

stating things as being fact? man, W.T.F .... again you fail to read what i write. I already said that i have had a similar problem before and i replaced the login.php file and it worked. Therefore i offered by help. I have already told you i said "back up" and "see if it works" ...

no no. I think he means he wants to install a new template. Not edit one.

To install a new colour ( template ).. download one that you like from www.phpbbhacks.com and upload it into your /templates dir on your ftp. Then add it inside the control panel then install.

i don't know the exact code withought looking into a depth search.. but you need to look inside langiage/lang_main.php i think.

i am not 100% sure what this will do or even if it will fix anything. My guess is that it tells your forum the database name for admin. This is all the config.php file shows. So try and edit the file and name it config.php and drop it into your root folder. Make sure your database name and username/...
