Starting from scratch with phpbb

I have a forum that I had disabled for a while now, I want to reopen it. But, I'd rather just start from scratch with the style/template, MODS, etc. I think back then I really screwed up some of the files while instaling MODS, so I get lots of errors on certain pages. Also, it's out of date, it's 2....

Re: All user email addresses not showing up in phpmyadmin

Please make sure you are running the query after selecting the correct database correspding to your forum.... Also are you sure there are users other than you in your forum ? Just to confirm that please run this query and tell me the result of it.... SELECT * FROM `phpbb_users` If it shows more use...

Re: All user email addresses not showing up in phpmyadmin

A simple SQL should do the trick from phpMyAdmin for your DB.... Try this one : SELECT username, user_email FROM `phpbb_users` This will list all the usernames aling with their email ids.... If your table prefix is something other than phpbb_ then replace phpbb_ with the table prefix used in your D...

All user email addresses not showing up in phpmyadmin

When I go to my database/phpmyadmin, it only lists my email address for the list of user emails. How can I get all of them to show up in my database? I don't get it, they show up in the admin CP on the forum, but NOT in my database, only mine is there. What I'm trying to do is, find an easy way to g...

thanks both of you. I realized I had someone install some MOD a while back, something called 'redirection suite' and apparently something that was done, affected PM's and I did not know it :?

I took out the "index." where it was in the privmsg.php file - it's working now. Thanks again :)

Still doesn't alter the fact that index.privmsg.php is not a standard phpBB file. You've got that from somewhere else. I see what you are saying. I don't have that actual .php file IN my index or directories. What it looks like is, somewhere I have index.privmsg.php in a code instead of just privms...

That's not a standard phpBB file. The footer of your forum says Modified by waking believing running 2006 EDIT So that suggests you've modded it in some way. That specifically is meaning I modified the template colors, images, etc. I have installed various MODS as in changing .php files, etc., but ...

No. and it was definately working fine when I first started the forum a year ago. I really cannot think of any MODS I installed for PM's. I really have never been interested in making them sophisticated in anyway...

Error when sending Private Messages

Hi, I am getting the following error when trying to send a private message to a member: Multiple Choices The document name you requested (/index.privmsg.php) could not be found on this server. However, we found documents with names similar to the one you requested. Available documents: * /index.php?...

thank you, it's fixed now! i just had to copy the lang_easy_birthday.php (whatever) file to both Dutch and German language packs (the Months are showing up now too). Now the only problem is that it's not translating the Months or the bottom where it says "Todays birthdays: there are no birthday...

Hi, can someone help me? These are the errors that come up when you change the language to Dutch or English: First, you get this under the header on all pages: Warning: main(./language/lang_dutch/lang_easy_birthdays.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages...

Thank you but the info at that link didn't work -- even just the first line it told me to find, cannot be found in my functions.php file. I think the birthday MOD that i have installed might be what causes the problem. I wish there was a way to fix this :(
