Deleting the contents of the file fixes it if anyone faces this issue in the future. There is still an error with phpbb though.

Make sure there is no spaces in front of the first <? or after the last ?> tags. Had the same problem and this fixed it.

Things could dramatically change and also it is a way of making people not use it in a live environment to make less support questions im guesssing. Alot of other reasons but im too tired to state them.

phpbb version whatever stores all username and password and emails in the database - if you have mysql its stored here. Any program can use this db. You should look at this. You can do queries on this from any php script thats logged into the database. Is this what you mean?

Only firefox. There is a new version out so i will try that and see if that is the problem. I will also try it on other forums i am admin to see if its just a single forum problem.

Well in FireFox when going into the Admin pannel - when clicking links on the left - the left frame dissapears. This is annoying. I think it has something to do with the target as in firefox it reports it as "main" rather than just main. Not sure but this should be fixed. No problems in Internet Exp...

Make sure the address has a http:// in front of it. I had the same problem.
