Members not able to login, even if password is correct

Members on one of the forums that I am hosting are not able to login, even if their password is correct. The board mentions: password incorrect, or too many tries (reCaptcha by Google which I disabled). The only way is to ask a new password, then they are able to login again. Some members have chang...

Too much hits to my forum topics after update of 3.3.0

Recently, and after the update to 3.3.0, my forum has had an increase of views on about every single topic. Not a few hundreds, but thousands of views are coming in. Don't know how this comes ? I thought about search engines or bots ?

Any idea ? Thanks!

That information is not shown on phpBB 3.3

To enable it see viewtopic.php?f=461&t=2532586
It was a nice feature, any idea why it has been scrapped ?

server load - page load time and debug information not visible at the bottom of page

Just did a completely new install of 3.3.0 with my old database, update went well!

I am now working on the template (prosilver special edition), but at the bottom I don't see the server load - page load time and debug information.

Any suggestion how to solve this ?

Thx,

Bart

Re: BLEXBOT crawler causing extremely high load on the server

That won't actually stop it coming to the server. Ask you hosts about blocking it at the server level. Well, it currently did work. It might have stopped it crawling your site but it has not stopped it accessing your site - it has to access the site to read the robots.txt file. Also bear in mind th...

BLEXBOT crawler causing extremely high load on the server

Yesterday evening, I started having a problem with our server. Which is, in normal circumstances (even to 10K pageviews per hour) working like a charm. There was extreme load on the server, about 30 on average. I checked the server's CPU, that was constantly running up to the 100% Checking my forum ...

Seems like an oddly-specific type of failure condition, but I guess it could have been sunspots. 😉
My IT-guy said the PHP server was restarted and it worked again. The server's RAM is filling up and we don't know why.

Got error 'PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Class phpbb\\db\\driver\\factory contains 1 abstract method and must therefore

I don't know if it's because of a PHP upgrade, but I have the following error code in my stats. Forums return error 500, I cleared the cache via FTP to no avail. I didn't change a thing recently.
You must have changed something.. installed extensions? Changed core files?
Not at all.

PHP 7.2.14
PHPBB 3.2.5
