I tried to contact the original author of the hash cal but received no response. In about 4 weeks from now I will look at recreating that script. It shouldn't be hard because all it should take is running the same routine that is inside the mod on all files and updating the sql table with the results.

I just checked it and it worked for me. You can try doing a right click, save as. The extension might be throwing your browser off.

What do you mean attachmod isn't windows compatiable? I run attachMod and ezDownloads on windows 2003.

I don't know what Garage MOD is so I can't help you there. You are correct about part1.txt If you installed Split Topic version 2 or greater, don't install part2.txt It you have installed Categories hierarchy version 2.0.4 or greater (this version number is not related to phpbb version number 2.0.17...

It runs on your own server. You have complete control of the spelling lists through the Aspell spell checker. Aspell installs with a dictionary of your choice. Adding words was confusing at first because Aspell is very flexible, but once I did a couple updates to the word list, I found it was actual...

I started by adding this mod to a bare 2.0.17 test board. The board is installed on w2k3, IIS6, sql2k, php4. I use EasyMOD. I only have SubSilver template. I had one, well documented error where unset($delete_type); no longer has a closing brace right after it. I put the [ AFTER, ADD ] code right af...

PHK, this may be obvious but have you used 'Forum Permissions' to set upload and download permissions on each forum? If this is set wrong the attachmod will act as you describe. Steve, If you mean I have set the "Post Files" and "Download Files" in the Forum Permissions set to "All" (or "REG", "MOD...

Hi Steve, I see that you installed this Mod using MSSQL, I have tried to as well, but have run into a problem with the SQL statement. If you could provide any insight into how I could get it to work, I would appreciate it. Thanks I have a couple questions. What is ver 3.0.3 ? 3.0.3 of what MOD? I c...

I don't have a 'posting.tpl' file. I have 'posting_body.tpl' and mine is different than yours but only cosmetics. Functionally it seems to be the same as mine. I looked at your site and the 'view source' of the reply page. It looks like the <!-- BEGIN reply_mode --> and <!-- END reply_mode --> are n...

Well, right off the bat I see [/color] in two places that shouldn't be there. Is it in your code too? That should cause some real problems. I compared your posting.php and didn't see anything wrong by looking side by side. I an not able to check your posting.tpl until 2 hrs from now. Then I will try...

I run the speller mod on Windows 2003. I had to play around with the PATH environment variable until php could see aspell. Also do you have extension=php_pspell.dll in your php.ini (or the equiv. for unix)? You should be able to run this script to test php access to aspell. Uncomment phpinfo() if yo...

I just ran into a bit of a problem with stream attachment type. Everything is working fine. I am running Windows 2003, IIS6, mssql2000 I setup my webserver on the D: volume. I put the attachment directory on the E: volume because it has the most free disk space. The attachmod configuration is okay w...

I also got 'error No post mode specified' the first time I tried to upload a file larger than 2meg. I changed these settings in php.ini: max_execution_time = 300 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds max_input_time = 600 ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request da...
