The file should be located at /{phpBB root}/languages/lang_english/email/user_welcome_inactive.tpl

Please verify that you have checked this location on both your server and in your download.

Depends. If I know the source is safe and trustworthy (e.g. Microsoft, Apple, etc.), then probably not. If it's a program from an unknown source, then I'll thoroughly read the document to make sure I'm not going to harm my computer.

if you use it, first, you will have many problems In Yahoo!'s defense, I have used the auto-install feature in the past and have not had any problems (whether it was updating, modding, etc.). Just as a note, I'm not promoting Yahoo! at all here - In fact, I'm looking around for a better host. All u...

I'm not sure what that has to do with the topic. Can you explain? I'm assuming that maddog720 was implying that the registration terms of agreement does not cover "admins reading PMs". But why should it? It's the agreement of the user . The issue of "administrators reading PMs" should be covered in...

good luck with getting any help from them. As a Yahoo! Small Business customer, I hate to say this, but I know exactly what you're referring to Robert. Yahoo! does have an auto-install feature for phpBB. It's not recommended in the community to use this feature (since the code has been edited), but...

so i replace the empty message "empty message"? Still don't think you get it. In this case, you're adding more code to the file. In any given MOD, it'll tell you... (1) What file to edit (2) Where in the file to edit (3) What to add/replace, etc. Keen job of explaining Matt! :D

BBcodes don't allow you to align the image left or right (unless they do and I just can't find it in the FAQ) and they don't allow table formatting and image captions like you can do in HTML. There's a MOD that creates table BBcode: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=219269 (still, no image...

Hello,
Well, first understand that "MOD" is short for "MODification". You will be editing and changing files/code. Detailed instructions are in the articles posted above and in the MOD download.
