cruisemates, if the posts table on the new forum is copied from the old forum, then there should be no problem running my mod on the old forum and then transfering the 2 search tables to the new forum. But you'll have to transfer mod's table too, if you want to continue the rebuidling on the new fo...

without getting in to the details of your particular case, the original author does retain copyright to anything he "wrote" for you UNLESS he specifically reassigns the copyright to you. However, there are other standards we have not discussed yet that may preclude his claim. If the origin...

You replied to go with the defaults which I did, but I have to tell you that although everything appears to be working normally, I have now been r...

Copyright law only applies to an "original work", and usually belongs to the author/creator of that work. Copyright applies to all original literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works. Each of these general categories covers a wide range of creations. The word "original" is k...

It helps if you give more background - was it an upgrade, domain change, etc. Are you sure you closed ALL browsers? (session cookie will keep it alive). Try it with Mozilla. Look for all cookies under your domain name. Also, IP addresses seem to need different settings than domains. Set up a test ac...

That is why I come back...

Anyway, here is another suggestion. experiment with the trailing slash on the scripts path (on or ...
