He(/she) probably mean in the forum index. so when you see the list of posts, you put your cursor over the post (subject) you get the first 40 words or so.

But what you have already done is almost there, just in the wrog place.

Does this look too much like phpBB2

Hi all, I am creating a product called Adv.News. This product is an online news broadcasting and administration application, in other words, it manages your news. I have been looking at phpBB for sometime now, I was here with the first version. I am creating my own product now (not a forum), and I a...

Thnx for your time.

Thank you very much for your feedback. It looks like I will have to change the logo. And yes midiadiva, I did ask for it didn't I. BTW I found your webdesign skils very, very good. Your portfolio, along with your CV, will look very good to any prospective employer. If you come up with any idea's, I ...

I very much doubt it, As long as something isn't directly copied, then it is counted as the creators intellectual property. So if theFinn was to try and sue me for 'Break of Copyright', he wouldn't have a leg to stand on (that doesn't mean to say I would cut them off :D) It is good practice to see w...

I'm sure the queries executed # is just the number of queries to the database.... A query is just one search, insert, update, etc to the database. The page generation time is the amount of time that php takes to create the page, from beginning to end, including all the database queries. PHP is not ...

Page generation time

I just wondered ow you calculate the page generation time... I know you use the microtime() function.

Could some please tell me the logic or code behind it... also if you have time, could you tell me the logic behind the '# queries executed'.

Thnx for your time,
Brent Newbury.
