Cause they turn a style into a mini-platform?

Re: Licensing Guidelines?

What is the basic expected license.txt format? Or does it matter? I downloaded 3.0.8 but neither subSilver2 nor proSilver have it in their directories. And anyhow, I thought to comply with submission guidelines we have to use the GPL anyway? So won't every license.txt be identical in that respect? N...

Licensing Guidelines?

Did a search http://www.phpbb.com/search/?q=licensing+guidelines as well as on the forum, but not a whole lot came up. What's with it? And why does every style "not meet with licensing guidelines"? For example, how could I address this with the styles I've released?

Re: [Release] MinecraftBB

Are you using a language other than the default en? Ie: en_us, fr, etc? If so, you'll have to rename or duplicate/rename the imagesets/en/ folder appropriately for your default language.

Re: First forum you ever joined:

I had forgotten about neopets. I can't remember how long ago it was when I was on that site (and it's small guild communities) but I can remember it having an influence in me showing an interest in CSS.

Re: who uses a 50 character password?

oleg-karow is discussing the legal implications of the article (and the boy's sentence), rather than the original topic question regarding password-length. I don't think it's entirely off-topic, although it may not have been the original author's intentions. Drage of Freckleton, near Blackpool, was ...

Re: who uses a 50 character password?

Any password != password in excess of 50 characters in length. Again, my original comment was regarding my inability to understand why someone would want to memorize a random 50-character long string :)

Re: Reputation | may I suggest to make it built-in with phpB

Reputation features require some level of maturity from the community members - it's not appropriate for every forum.

Re: vBulletin style for phpBB3

So? I'm talking about creating a general template, and implementing a similar organization - the common denominator among all the vB styles. All the graphics and such are customizable, so you can just make your own. Users across all forum software modify the original style to their wishes, anyhow. I...

Re: October Desktop Showcase

As do I. I'd rather capitalize on the screen real estate of my macbook by having the dock really small. That way windows can take up that much more. That's in-part caused by the fact I have the dock set to always be on top.

Re: Copyright removal

I could potentially see us setting up some kind of paid support program for large professional users at some point in the future (although there are currently no plans whatsoever to proceed with this), but that too would have nothing to do with the credit line. Canonical has a good system going - n...

Re: Change Name / Delete

If the post content is an issue: I believe you could just edit the comments that you're worried about, removing the post contents. It's an option, I think, depending on how the phpBB team handles these kinds of requests. But you've basically only posted asking for support, so I don't see how that co...
