User Admin Management problem in ACP

I'm having a permissions issue I think with editing my users from the ACP. When I go in to make any changes like avatar, signature, or rank, the changes don't take. Everything seems to go through ok, but when I check the users data, nothing has changed. I can change the data in the SQL, so it's not ...

I'm having similar issues to this where I'll change ranks for my users and they won't keep after I submit. No errors, just when I go back to look at it, it's back to where it was. Any idea where I can look to figure this one out?

Change Rank problem

I installed this mod and attempted to change the rank for the moderators to "no special rank". However, I seem to have an error somewhere in my code (elsewhere) being that it will not allow me to change their ranks. After I make the change and go back to check it, it's back at Moderator rank.
