Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

no-store and I think pragma no-cache were gone for a few days, and now they're back. What's the story with them? Their removal produced severe problems with the software, especially occassional logouts and the non-ability to comment on tickets. ;) We now use varnish in front of JIRA to take care of...

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

Anybody have a clue how to list what issues you have selected to *watch*? There used to be a link in the left side menu after logging in but that whole thing is gone now and I cannot find any option in the UI to show me what bugs I am watching. Was that functionality completely removed this week wh...

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

-nn, the configuration settings for adjusting the headers would be indeed quite helpful. It seems like there is something wrong on our end, because the initial connection time is what makes our installation so slow. The time between the request and the sending of the page is quite high.

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

IMO jira is not as slow as some state here. For example my experience with Zend's jira installation is that Zend's is twice as slow as ours for example. ;) Atlassians installation though is a bit faster - but IMO this is due to their database connection and they are obviously running tomcat on port ...

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

I found it mind boggling that this was "the best solution" you could come up with. Mainly it had to do with the abilities JIRA gives us (workflow adjustements for example) which were all rudimentary on different products (bugzilla is horrid) - but the main factor was basically the tight i...

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

Tell that atlassian - these are the shortcomings if using a third-party product or library. ;) There is an update in the pipeline now, revamping some UI components. Also, i suspect the most slowdown at the moment is due to the fact we use an external database with a latency of 8-15ms (this sounds lo...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.6 released

There are no icons (although style authors can enable them in their styles) - the icons are displayed in your browser (in firefox it is displayed in the location bar for example).
