MODX format has already accommodated as MODification description format but honestly, it's not perfect. Moreover, it's bad. That's why we decided to start this topic, write about MODX defects and try to think what should be done with this. What's wrong with MODX? MODX file contains both metadata and...

Re: [RC] phpBB3 Sitemap 1.1.1

Probably your PDO doesn't have MySQL driver. Try to remove this line - if there would be another error, it won't work until server admin will install PDO_MYSQL.

Re: Last Posts Titles

You can make some texts larger by adding style="font-size: Xem" to HTML elements that contain it. (X is a number)

You can change date format in UCP.

Re: Developing with version control

Launchpad has just imported phpBB's trunk and 3.0 line, so now it's possible to use Bazaar VCS . It has much better support for Windows and Mac OS than Git, and it's much simpler. To get phpBB's trunk code, type following instruction in your console: bzr branch lp:phpbb/trunk (It will create new di...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

fornit, you don't have to replace /phpBB3/language/en/acp/permissions_phpbb.php. You can just add /phpBB3/language/en/mods/permissions_coppermine.php file, and phpBB3 will automagically include it.

Re: websites that build for one browser

Dogs and things, If I would want to make my site IE6-compatible, I would have to drop some of its features. Re: websites that build for one browser

If you don't want people to view it / use it, then why put it on the internet to begin with? I want people to view it / use it, but I can't find any reason why I should work much more to allow accessing my page with a browser that isn't a browser. If I would be payed to make it accessible from IE, ...

Re: websites that build for one browser

With IE I can't browse some valid pages, compliant to all W3C standards (like the project of new phpBB3.PL), so it's not full Internet browser; I could only call it "part of the Internet browser".
