Upgrade from phpbb2.0.22 to phpbb3 ???

Not sure where I should ask this question, but is it required that I first upgrade to the .23 version before the upgrade to phpbb3? Or can a phpbb3 be installed and converted from the prior .22 version directly?

Apparently, the table was somehow damaged beyond recognition. Phpmyadmin could not even display the structure, so as a remedy, I 'FLUSHED' the table and it...

Re: Hiding member list from guests

What is the likelihood of this procedure becoming a full-on Mod? It isn't difficult to do, but having this procedure as a Mod to be installed using Easy Mod might benefit others who are less capable...

Re: my admin index disappeared!

Does this mean that every time the Forum is called from a browser the Forum connects to phpbb.com or somewhere else to confirm that it is a valid copy of the software?

My apologies for mis-posting this topic. I figured "[2.0.x] Conversions/Updates" would cover the question I posed.

Anyway, all up to date and thanks for your help.

Upgrade advise, please and thanks.

I have a small, private Forum which is based on phpBB 2.0.17. Spam has never been a problem, so I have been negligent in upgrading lately. It is a vanilla phpBB2.0.17 install with zero Mods. Not even EasyMod is added. In light of the imminent arrival of phpBB 3, is it required to upgrade to the late...

There was only one problem with the unzip and install, and as soon as I changed the DB_user password on my account to match the one I tried using on the first install attempt, everything went great. There is definately a WoW! factor on the changes to the ACP and the features for the Admins and Mods....

Thanks.
