Re: Re-login Prompt: Post Details Lost

phpBB does not store forward on information for users who are not logged in, nor would it be a simple task to make it do this. If users are not able to stay logged in, then you need to check the cookie settings in the ACP, as well as the session length if they are not choosing to autologin. Thanks....

Re-login Prompt: Post Details Lost

Where we have phpbb3 deployed, we have a staggering number of Windows policy configurations which results and an even more staggering number of browser configurations. Most of the time, things work great. However, for a small subset of our community... staying logged-into the forum is a nightmare. I...

Re: MCP Module: Missing &f=xx in section link

Are you defining $forum_id at all? I have the following at the top of main(): global $config, $auth, $db, $user, $template, $cache; global $phpbb_root_path, $phpEx; $forum_id = request_var('f', 0); $this->u_action = ($forum_id)?$this->u_action.'&f='.$forum_id:$this->u_action; So, I grab $forum_id f...

MCP Module: Missing &f=xx in section link

I've developed a couple modules that appear in the MCP. They work great. When you click on their tabs, you get a link like: http://xxx.com/forum/mcp.php?i=195&f=8 However, if you click the module's section link (the "white" ribbon to the left that allows you to switch between different *modes*), I g...

Re: simple RSS mod for phpBB3

Now im lost! lol I take it that code is somewhere in the functions.php? You may want to check functions.php again... It may have to do with this line (#3761 for me): 'U_RSS' =>append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}rss.$phpEx") . (($f === 0 || !(empty($f))) ? '?f=' . $f : ''), If it is quoted wrong, the var...

Re: simple RSS mod for phpBB3

"The requested URL /testforum/. str_replace( was not found on this server. Not sure, but that seems to indicate you have some quoting issues somewhere. Seems like '/testforum/' is not being properly concatenated with the results of the str_replace function call. I'd start by searching functions.php...

Sorry. I had a bug in one of my modifications to this sspi code. Please disregard the session Id issue.

Another issue I'm trying to figure out is... why does my session ID change with every page I load in the forum? I can't log into the ACP, because the session ID keeps changing.

Re: [DEV] Apache/Kerberos single sign-on with LDAP/AD connection

This mod is quite awesome. Got it working with SSPI on my Windows Apache server. Is there any way to override the auto login? Now that you have done so much work to provide SSO, what about a user logging-in from a kiosk machine. This was obviously designed for corporate intranet users... which I rep...

Re: simple RSS mod for phpBB3

I have install the mod and it seems to be working with one exception. It repeats the same forum post about 9 times. I have changed one line WHERE t.forum_id = 7 I only want it to post from one forum. I also would like it to show the replies. I tried some of the code examples on this forum topic but...

Per-topic RSS feed (Re: simple RSS mod for phpBB3)

Thanks for the simple RSS mod. I was looking for this, but wanted just a bit more. Our forum is quite diverse, and receiving updates for the entire board, via RSS, is not desired for many users. The following modifications alter this mod to generate an RSS feed for the current topic (and its childre...

LDAP Auth: Using 2 LDAP Servers

Is it possible to use more than one LDAP server? Our organization has multiple directories to support authentication in multiple domains. None of the directories have everyone in them. Is there a way to provide the customer with an LDAP directory pick list at login, or automatically search multiple ...
