Re: [2.0.21] User Shield

Carrying on in the fine tradition of "When it rains, it pours," I have another error. We've been having trouble with our database, and when the owner fixed it, some of the MODded docs were replaced with "clean" ones. I've gone through the whole shebang, item by item, but... Down at the bottom of the...

Also, a link to your forum would be useful.

Version 2.0.22

This was recently updated by the owner of the boards, but I don't know what method he used to do the update.

Well, what MODs do you have installed, and have you altered the files/database in any other way?

Installed MOD is "User Shield 2.0.21" -- no other alterations that I'm aware of.

Could not allocate space for object

Help! We're unable to post anything more than one-line posts to our forum. When we do, we get the following message: Warning: odbc_exec(): SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Could not allocate space for object 'phpbb_search_wordmatch' in database 'lyrantal' because the 'PRIMAR...

Re: [2.0.21] User Shield

I have an interesting problem... My boss recently upgrated to the latest release of php, which seems to have wiped out our MODs. Not a huge problem, but after reinstalling User Shield, I get this displayed on my index page: We have 192 registered users and 0 non-active registered users and 0 non-act...

MSSQL is not my choice, but I've got to use what the boss says to use!

So! I knocked back the size allowed to a mere 12k instead of 16k, and that seems to have done the trick. Not perfect, but 300% better than what we had before!

Thanks for your help!

Hm. It works to post, but to un- post I get this: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Domains\lyrantalpress.com\wwwroot\phpBB2\db\mssql-odbc.php on line 174 It also makes the index funky. Where there should be the date/time posted and the posters name, it is blank but fo...

Okay...

So it should look like this?

$this->result = odbc_exec($this->db_connect_id, "SELECT $query");

odbc_binmode($this->result, ODBC_BINMODE_PASSTHRU);
odbc_longreadlen($this->result, 16384);

HT Increase Post Length?

I'm using phpBB 2.0.17 in a fiction community. How can I increase the length of the posts allowed?
