The better one answered perhaps you will be able to give yourself about that, I believe the best thing is to read both features and/or both Roadmaps. :) Yes you are right vistar. Best thing to do is read the features for both board or try phpbBB3 out. I personally like phpBB since its easier to use...

Permission Question

When you install a fresh copy of phpBB3, are the permissions setup like phpBB2 or do I have to customize the permissions to my liking?

Permissions

Can anyone help me out with the permissions? The new permission system seems more difficult than the one on phpbb2. I try to just simply edit some permissions for the users but I have to do many things just for a little change which gets confusing.

It would still be install but the security won't be that secure I guess since it says

it is recommended that register_globals is disabled on your PHP install for security reasons.

Thanks Im going to download phpbb3 right now. I was first thinking about not because I keep hearing about some bots are able to see some of the private section of the forum.
