Spammers still registering.......

Spammer are still registering.... when the board configures as fallows:

Enable Account Acctivation: User and/or Admin

Enable Visual Confirmation: Yes

Spammers can by pass this how can I stop this.

I was set to user and spammers still register but that account is not acctive their username is still in the database

Plus they use alot of Annomous Usernames, Fake Email Address, Etc.

Where can I find this?

where in the config. when a user register and send them a activation code through email? and also if they don't activate there username is not on my database? Plus I had some people register and never post on the forums for 4 days and I had to delete them and 4 different people has the same website ...

I have visited other forums and I have notice on the part says Who's Online: like

Morris Technologies, MSN, Google.com, Yahoo, Ask Geeves, So forth. Has anyone seen this before?
