Re: [Release] subBlack 1.2.1 for phpBB 2.0.22

Yea I see that now, I had a friend upload them for me and all is well. Something to do with my router and yahoo I guess. I never had the problem before using other servers/ftp so...

All is well, thank you for having a look and giving me some time.

Re: HELP!! Error with install.

Thanks also, I was setting up a forum for a friend and just about gave it up, well I could never do that for a friend doing free work but I was frustrated!

My fix was from Harblars post, change localhost to mysql and all is well.

Thanks,
Sean-Michael.

Re: Remove Contact info like "MSN", "Yahoo" ect.

Well, I think I have this fixed, done, but I am hoping that a kind, more experienced coder could check over my work to confirm that I have done things correctly and have not compromised my phpbb script! I've removed functions to add the data I mentioned previously, also removed the functions to view...

Remove Contact info like "MSN", "Yahoo" ect.

I would like to remove the unneeded, well "not needed" information for my site like "MSN Messenger:", "Yahoo Messenger:", "AIM Address:", "ICQ Number:". As I have noticed really the only ones that make use of these are Spam Bots anyway lol. I do have one twist though, I would like to convert one of ...

Re: [Tool] Add phpBB Functions to Notepad++ PHP API

No problem, I took a quick look at the two files, yours and the default NotePad++ php.api and it looks like the only difference is your added entries. Of coarse its worth your looking into, I'm sure I'm a little less experienced than you and might be missing something. Anyway, thanks again for the m...

Re: [Tool] Add phpBB Functions to Notepad++ PHP API

Very nice mod and handy!

I just want to ask, you keep this .api updated? Current version of NotePad++ is now 4.4 :D

I'm really sorry! I forgot to state above that I host from my computer, so I save to my local drive. I have apache httpd.conf settings for "EnableSendfile Off" and "EnableMMAP Off", from what I hear/read this is the common cause of problems associated with apache and phpbb, enabling these fea...

You mean in the header of all pages, your html may be goofed up, you will need to post your overall_header.tpl, alternatively if its a added style you can always look to the stock/default subsilver files to see what errors you are making.

I seem to be having a problem duplicating the problem, which leads me to the conclusion that it could be as tcosmas has stated, a connection issue where I'm loosing packets. I don't use a ftp program so this could be an issue but I doubt it. Here's what I do know, :D 1. It happens at random times as...
