Ok, when you have eliminated the probable, the unprovable must be the culprit. Well, if it were something mis configured, it would be in the httpd logs, or perhaps in the /var/log directory for the processes like mysql or php. The thing that gets me is that you say it's intermittent. Can you come back later in the day and the topic will come up normally, or is it the topic.
