Is there anything before <?PHP in your mod.php? That might cause the error.

Avatars work just fine.

Symbols, however do not.

You include the mod using <?php include("path/to/mod.php"); ?>

It could be a while before I can use DBAL. I have way too much work from school to convert to the dbal system now. :/

Location of avatar does not matter; I am using a variable set by phpbb to get the avatars, so wherever they may be located, they will always be found.

I suggest you do make it all different folders as below: /config.php (config for mod) /mod.php (actual mod) /template.html (template) /topics/config.php (config file for topics list only) /topics/mod.php (actual mod for topics list only) /topics/template.html (template for topic list only) Then to u...

You would have to make a copies of the mod, depending on how many times you want it to appear.

Keep in mind that, you will need to keep separate directories, or you will be confused and be forced to edit the files :/ Also, each will need its own config.php file with each own settings.

Glad to see so many people using this mod

All this BBCode/Symbol nonsense is beyond me. Even with proper iso enclodings, the odd symbols still manage to replace the ones that are needed.
