Deleting log entries

Is there a reason to delete log entries - Admin, User or Moderator? If you're hitting your max on your database I know that would free up some space, but besides that, does anything use those files? It would seem to me that the only thing that happens with the log tables is they are written to as ne...

Re: No profile editing for members of "Newly registered use

Bob, if you can't be helpful, ignore my posts. Your petty vendetta against me is childish and tiresome.

Is there a mod that exists already to do it? The only reason they join is to post spam links in their profiles, so preventing any profile editing would probably close to eliminate the problem.

Get rid of previous mods

I just did a clean install of 3.0.8. I uploaded AutoMod, and it is listing the mods that I used on 3.0.7. How do I clear this list?

Thanks,

Michelle

spam and hacking problems

I installed the "time zone" fix to help prevent spam registrations. It worked for a while, now we're getting hammered by them again. I have 8 random questions that require lowercase and capital letters in the answers, but that's not helping at this point - which leads me to believe that these are no...

Password protecting a website

I am working on my wedding website, and I have already put up a phpbb board. I need to move the board to a sub folder, but I also need to password protect the site over all. I found familycms.com but that's a lot more than I need. I am a designer/developer, so I don't need nor want a CMS. I'm just l...

Not understanding how to add Mods

I used AutoMod to install two mods - show last topic and add user. I cleared the cache both times and neither showed up, then I was poking around and found Module Management, which I hadn't used before (this is my first forum that is on 3.0.7-pl1) I tried to active the Mods, which didn't work, but t...

Re: [RC] Share On [Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Digg, MySpace,.

I just noticed that my icons are not showing. If you roll over the spaces where they should be, the links are there, and if you view the source, the code is there and they work. But they aren't actually showing up...

Re: AutoMOD question

I did remove all the entries from the database table already, this last step was the only one that I didn't know where / how to do.

Thanks!

Re: Clicking to get to a forum

Ok, so I looked and looked....

I'd like the same functionality for threads, and I got the rollover to work, but the clicking is not.

I think I may have put my onclick in the wrong row. oops...

Where does it really go?

Re: last post topic title

Did you turn it on? In the ACP you have to enable it.

You also have to install it on your styles if you use one other then the "normal" ones.

I updated mine to do it if you'd like to take a look.

It's very user friendly in my opinion (not that I'm biased lol)
