Re: Can't even moderate my forum, please help

Now something strange happened. I tried deleting posts again, and it worked.

Then I wanted to delete the last post and it showed again: Sorry but you can only delete your own posts and Sorry but you may only delete posts which have not been replied to.

Re: Can't even moderate my forum, please help

First, ranks have nothing to do with permissions. Second, administrators by default have no moderator permissions - you should make sure you are a member of the Global Moderators group also. Third, use the Forum moderation permission mask against your username to see where your permissions are bloc...

Hey everyone, Is there a way to reset all the permissions? I have done all the ranks right for the admin but I can't even edit my own posts now. Is there a folder to delete? Thanks Adrian Hi Adrian, I am experiencing the same problem. I was running under V3.0.2 and for some 2 weeks or so, it came u...

Re: Forum shows only blank white page

ok, let's start again. Please fill in the Support Request Template, in particular describes any and all MODs you may have installed. It works again. I found in the config.php file that the database was apparently changed from 'mysql' to 'mysqli' and that was the reason for the blank white page. How...

Re: Forum shows only blank white page

Could this be a template issue? Everyone seems content to blame the index.php page, but the viewtopic.php file isn't working either (as I suspect none of them are). Most common reason for PHP to give a white screen is because it was never told to output anything. Just a thought. If you'd like to te...

Re: Forum shows only blank white page

Connect to your web server using FTP, and check if any of the files has today or yesterday as the date. Hi, did this. The index.php shows a date of today 5:13 pm. What I previously did was downloading the install version of php 3.0.2 and copied the index.php into the existing forum directory. Thoug...

Try this: Create a new file named phpinfo.php with the following contents:

Code: Select all

<?php
phpinfo();
?>
Upload it to your server and link. :)

Were you already running version 3.0.2 ? Sure, post it here (between code tags), and we'll see if there's something suspicious. Yes, I am running on 3.0.2.
