It does, but you can delete this new thread. I have a better fix but it requires you to alter your viewtopic.php file Ashe, Do you know why this problem started happening? I noticed it started happening to me after I switched from using the internal mailer to the smtp mailer. Could this be related?...

Re: Problems Backing up Database

First of all, in admin index page, it tells me that the file is 3.64 MB but I download a file that's around 10 MB. I do a full backup every week and because of the way a full backup is created (with all the additional SQL statements, inserts, etc.) my full backup is usually about 3x the size of my ...

Replacing Deleted Posts from Backup

One of my moderators decided to do a little spring cleaning and deleted several posts that should not have been deleted. I didn't notice this for about 3 weeks. I make full backups of my database each week so I have these posts on my staging database, but I'm not sure how I can reload them into my p...

charles20hk,

Did you try modifying your "emailer.php" using the suggestions above? It is hard to help if we don't know what you've already tried. I would start by trying both of the suggestions above and see what happens. Once you do that we can go from there.

Hi, Where are you trying to add the image? ----- Moderators - please move to Styles Dev. I'm trying to add a background image on all pages. I'm using the background option in the Admin control panel, themes, management, but nothing works. I'm not sure why this was moved to the Styles Development fo...

Since my last post I've figured out that the two individuals who were having this problem were using AOLs browser. I've since asked them to try IE and let me know if that corrects the issue. My guess is that it will. I used one of their accounts to login in myself to test. I never got this error mys...

Re: Why not user user_lastvisit?

For now I've made the above change along with the following based on my assumptions of what is trying to be achieved: //$dato= sprintf('%04d',date('Hi',time())); //$timetoday = time() - (3600*($dato[0].$dato[1])) - (60*($dato[2].$dato[3])); $timetoday=$current_time-(3600*24); Maybe I'm going to bre...

Timestamp Question?

I noticed by checking the timestamps for my session_start, sesssion_time, user_lastvisit, and post_time fields in my database that my timestamps are always 24 hours behind the actual time. For example, one message was posted at "Sun Sep 01, 2002 9:46 am", yet the timestamp in the post_time...

I've discovered an issue with the Last Visit Mod where the guests count gets reset at 12am and the registered users do not get reset until 1am (1 hour later) during daylight savings time (DST). Is there anyway to resolve this or do I just have to wait until DST is over? Also, one of my users keeps g...

Re: (Work around) - You cannot make another post so soon

I don't know how safe this is but it seems to definately get ride of the annoying post timeout message. Make your SQL connection to the PHPBB tables however you prefer and run this SQL update statement. update phpbb_config set config_value = -9999999 where config_name = 'flood_interval' My phpbb_co...

Cannot make another post so soon after your last post

I've got one user who keeps getting the "cannot make another post so soon after your last post" message. I've read all the other posts on the PHPBB support forum and I've checked my flood interval and post_times in the phpbb_posts table and everything seems to be in order. It is possible t...
