Re: [BETA] Simple Image Thumbnail for phpBB2

Yeah you can edit the IMG tag to do the same thing, but some images will still fit without needing to be thumbnailed which is why I made it separate. Just to add the option for people posting large images, and for mods / administrators to clean up certain threads.

Re: Out of the box phpBB 3 is awful for SEO

Why is there so much complaining, phpbb is free and modifiable. If you were paying for it then yes complaints are fair, but the developers have put so much work in and are giving it freely to the community. If there is such a problem why not consider making a mod and releasing it to help others out....

Re: This release is a complete mess (imo)

I found it really difficult to modify phpbb3 once it first came out, the use of css controlled div's really did confuse me and make me rather annoyed, it seems you are finding the same problems as I originally did. I took the time to study and teach myself about the use of div's, now I find that php...

All that I've done is add some tables to the overall header html file and everything is working how I want except for a cell padding option which I cant find in the css to turn off. It is linke...

SQL Error : 1064 when trying to restore database

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'we had that. yeah migh' at line 1 INSERT INTO phpbb_posts_text (post_id, bbcode_uid, post_subject, post_text) VALUES('1031', '1031','1031','1031','...

To rename a table in phpmyadmin just select the database that contains the table you want to edit, click on the SQL tab up top and enter: RENAME TABLE tablename_ TO newtablename_ Hit GO and it should be renamed. Ofcourse replace tablename_ with the current name of the table and newtablename_ with th...

megaw - You dont really need to edit the table names to do this. I found a way around it. The way I shared members was I installed a new phpbb and used a different prefix, so it installed all the tables in the same database under different table names. Then you open the config.php from the new forum...

Really good mod, however it would be great if you could set a minimum amount of posts a user needs before email is displayed. Not sure how hard it would be to modify and change from only Admin to a users post level though. Would anyone be able to help me out with this?
