You sure you got the user/pass right?

How about any daily backups of the files involved? Maybe restore them.

Is there a way to remove all users with zero posts?

Other than one by one i mean.

I tried searching but the search function here just returns a blank page every time i try it.

My guess owuld be to use the admin CP to backup the database, then install phpbb2 fresh on the new machine, then use the adminCP there to import the database.

download the changed files only, you will see many zips inside and pick the zip to update from your version to the latest.

Since I have put in this mod, I get an error when I try to delete a post.
the error is:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $end in path\posting.php on line 1135

In the file posting.php, there is no line 1135, only 1134 lines.

Checked out the stickey and the detailed help for upgrading. Looks more complex than installing the board in the first place :-( This is a redhat machine, is there a way to upload the changed files and call it good? It wants me to run a bunch of command line stuff which I have no experience in doing...
