Username already taken error on registration

Out of the blue we made no changes users are now getting an error that says username already taken just after clicking agree to the COPPA agreement.

This is the default 2.0.6c release, no mods.

I should have prefaced that with highly modified TEMPLATE/STYLE... the code itself is untouched.

Never mind the fact that you guys are just using a vanilla answer because you lack the ability to help people.

Anyone have any ideas?

I mean I know that 30k users is a little unusual for most phpBB's but still can anyone come up with an answer?

Go into the admin panel, add it as the default... then ensure your user properties have the same style selected.

Mass Email feature - Revisited....

Ok, I have recently changed server configurations from a dedicated server to a virtual server. The virtual server is limited on the number of resources it can use, however I dont believe that to be the problem I am running into. I am running a highly modified version of 2.0.5 and the mass email feat...

You guys, seriously...

If you just relax about it, downgrade to 2.0.4 and wait, I am SURE that they will get a new release out to fix it. This team is extremely responsible.

The common sense thing to do here, is to simply stop messing with it.

This really does warrant a new release to be fixed and I am sure the phpBB team will make sure it happens.
