Re: Image in the topic

I want to put a sponsors image in the topic in the menu is this possible Hello. Adding code for ads would be a modification of a .tpl file (which is written in HTML). If you're looking for just "images", try going here: http://images.google.com/

Re: Register Confirm email to Admin...

I also don't understand why when people register, the Admin (yours truly) does not get an email about it? Hello. Imagine a forum (like this one for example), that has hundreds of people registering a month. That's a lot of e-mails coming in for an admin. If you don't expect too much traffic/user re...

Go into includes emailer.php. Search the file for the word "plain". Subsitute it with html. Voilà. You're sending html emails. Darn! If you would have waiting 5 more days, it would have been one year exactly since someone replied. Tisk tisk. I mean, come on. This is when Robert used "flogger12"!

Hello.
You're better off asking for help in the MOD's topic. This forum is for MOD Requests.

I just wanted to point you in the right direction so you can get your forum back

Best of luck.

how can I add new levels Hello. Do you mean ranks? If so, watch this flash tutorial on creating new ranks: http://www.phpbb.com/support/tutorials/display.php?t=phpbb2_admin_rank For the color changes of various ranks, that would require a MOD. I just quickly looked through the MODs and couldn't fin...

Hello. I'm from the U.S., but I can give some advice. If you're worried about violating any laws, I recommend talking to a lawyer or someone with legal background/knowledge. You're much better off getting legal advice from someone you trust than some random person on phpbb.com (like me :D ). In othe...

Re: Search friendly

CareDog wrote: Are url's in phpBB search friendly? If not is there a way to fix this?

What do you mean? If a user cannot find what he/she is looking for, then trying using different keywords and define where/what to search. The advanced options make the search easier. The rest is up to the user.

Hello.
That would require a MOD. Take a look at this one. If this isn't what you want, try a search or request a MOD. If all you want are images, go here.

Hope this helps.

Which part is too complicated? Did you ask your other admins if they changed your password? Did you ask them to change it right now so you can log in?
