Thanks, Soumik.

Will go that route instead. Looks like it is working that way.

Thanks

changed MySQL servers now need to change password

Hey all,

I moved the phpbb db from one existing mysql setup to another. Now I need to change the user/password within phpbb to access new Mysql.

Which file does the mysql user/pass does phpbb use for me to modify?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply....

I used the installer packages from both the php and the apache, then I reconfigured the httpd.conf file in apache.

Is there a php file in the php directory that I need to reconfigure?

It is Windows 2003 Server.

Thanks,

Hey Guys,

I don't want anymore users-period. Legit or not. I just want to shut down registration to everyone. Everyone who needs to be in there are already registered, and posting. I don't want anymore registrants.

Is there a way to do it?

Thanks,

disable new registration question

Hi All,

Would like to know if it is possible to disable new registrations? I would like to shut down the new registrations but keep the boards running for the current users.

Thanks in advance,

using a flash swf link in a sig question

Hi guys,

wanted to know why we can't get a flash swf link to work as a sig. The sig does work inother types of forums.

Is this a MOD that I need to do to make it work? If so what is the MOD called?

Thanks in advance,

The problem is that I fresh install 2.0.21, then apply my restore backup, then apply the mods, and when I run them, I get the same errors. So I am thinking that maybe it's in the DB.

Thanks,

Can I backup certain parts of phpbb

Hi Guys, I would like to know if I can use the backup feature to save only the posts and the forum structure? I am having problems installing mods (Shoutbox and Attachment) and I am thinking that maybe a fresh sql/forums install might be for me. I am at a loss in trying to figure this problem out. C...
