Re: ProFlat or similar style

I really wonder why it's taking so long for his style to get approved.

Re: ProFlat or similar style

Noticed on that thread he's submitted the theme for approval like a week and a half ago. Do you know how it takes to get validated?

Re: ProFlat or similar style

What a legend, might even try out the dev version, even though I'm not so confident with checking for bugs and stuff.

Re: ProFlat or similar style

Nah it's melbournespokenword.com

That would be great if you could help with that. Proflat was the best match but I suppose the square one is the only one kinda close with 3.2 compatibility.

ProFlat or similar style

I used to use ProFlat with my board and now it won't work with 3.2 which is a real shame as I love that style. Wondering if it'll be updated or is anyone working on a similar style. ProFlat matches much more with the rest of my website.

Re: 3.1.9 to 3.2: "The installer detected a timeout" error

I increased it to 10000 like you but I also upgraded my php to php 7, no issues.

I'm having the same problem.
I got it fixed

You can increase the timeout by creating a php.ini or phprc file. I did it with my host like this: https://help.dreamhost.com/hc/en-us/art ... e-via-FTP-

Re: Updating Database times out

Call your host and ask them how to increase the time out or create a phprc file. It threw me off too.

Re: Updating Database times out

Ah, they told me I had to create a phprc file and I increased the timeout that way, which helped me update the database. Just deleting the install folder now. Hopefully that works.

Do you know if my old theme proflat will still work?

Increasing the timeout limit should be done through the server, in the php.ini files.
Usually you don't have access to that yourselves, your host has. Ask them to increase the limit.
Where might I find those files? Can I access them via FTP or do I have to go into PHPmyAdmin

Re: 3.1.1.0 to 3.2 Error

I've done the full update and it won't work, I can't update the database coz it times out and no one can tell me how to remove the timeout function Please don't hijack another user's topic with your own support questions. If you feel that your topic might have accidentally gone unnoticed, feel free...

Getting the same error. No one answers you. The IRC channel is empty. Can someone just tell us how to fix this?! It's been days.
