Re: Fatal Error

Most people probably don't have root level access to the server they're extracting an archive on.

Re: Fatal Error

I unzipped the files on my computer first, then uploaded them using FTP. This didn't work. I then deleted the vendors directory and uploaded it a second time which also did not work as I kept getting the same error. Then I deleted the whole install. Files, database tables, everything. Uploaded the z...

Re: Fatal Error

I uploaded the whole archive to the server and uncompressed it on the server. Fixed the issue. Thanks everyone for the help.

What is wrong with using the server to uncompress the archive?

Re: Fatal Error

That didn't work. I deleted the old vendor directory and uploaded it again. That didn't work. So I compressed the vendor directory on my host, uploaded the archive, then uncompressed it on the server. Still same error.

Re: IPB 2.0.4 to Phpbb 3.0.x

Thanks for the suggestions, but I got it to work. I used a newer version of the IPB --> Phpbb2 convertor and it converted the posts and topics correctly. I then converted Phpbb2 to Phpbb3. All seems to be well.

Re: IPB 2.0.4 to Phpbb 3.0.x

Well it's not working.

Conversion of the users work.
Conversion of the forums work.

When I start converting the posts, posts texts and topics it doesn't actually convert anything. Not sure where they end up.

IPB 2.0.4 to Phpbb 3.0.x

So I am getting an old, dated database that needs to be converted to the latest version of Phpbb3. Now I realize the IPB install is extremely old, it hasn't been used in years but the community that used it wants to start it back up and convert the forums to something newer/modern. So... What I thin...

Re: Strict Standard: Non-static method utf_normalizer

Ah I think you are correct. I do seem to recall installing phpBB SEO on this board. Drats! I need to come up with a solution to keep track of modifications done to the different forums I host.

Re: Strict Standard: Non-static method utf_normalizer

Hey thanks for the suggestion, but when I replace those two files with the latest versions I get this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::set_cond() in /home/forumsut/public_html/index.php on line 50 includes/startup.php was not a new file to my install, I had to rename the old on...

Well until I get to that point, anything I can configure on the PHP side to stop the error from showing until I can update it?

Strict Standard: Non-static method utf_normalizer

I am attempting to restore a forum that I stopped hosting about a year ago. I am fairly confident it's currently outdated as it was up-to-date around this time last year when I took it off-line. I am trying to iron out all the bugs before I attempt to update to the latest version as I don't really r...

Re: Amazon Payments...

Bumping this for any possibilities to get it integrated into PhpBB.

Would really be nice if it automatically tracked donations, had a subscription setup that auto move users to defined groups.

User moderate own topic

I'm looking for a modification that will allow a user to moderate his/her own topic.

What I'd like is for them to have the ability to delete posts within' a topic they've create.
The ability to lock and unlock their own topics (that they've locked, if an Admin or MOD locks they can not unlock it)
