Forum Central (on vBulletin) is my forum, yes. The forum in question is http://coa.ender.com , please don't assume I'm a retard. 8) I was trying to help the administrator there, as I was an old "phpBB guru" of sorts before I switched over to vBulletin. Not really sure why the resync function isn't d...

One thing of notice, it seems the stickies are the ones that aren't being resynced.

I don't suppose there's a "rebuild post index" type mod? Poo.

Yes, I've resynced and checked, and to no avail. There are still certain posts that note having 5 pages, when they only have 4, for example. Basically, there was a week of posts that the server lost. The thread/forum indexes act as if they have those posts when they don't.

Resync doesn't do anything but refresh the page, sadly. I tried that right away.

Thread/Topic clean up

A server with a large database had a slight goof, and the database had to be restored from a certain point. Long story short, there are some topics listed on the index that you click, and don't exist. There are some topics that exist that say they have 2 pages, that only have 1. I'm looking for a mo...

I uh, did upgrade to vBulletin btw. Pretty much the same as this, though. Maybe not worth the cash, but.. that's where I went!

Trust me, I looked into doing it manually once upon a time. I think I finished one update before I decided "My code is too modded to proceed with this." PHPBB has been great for me, which is why it's sad for me to consider moving to a different software (as it also hurts my pocketbook), but if I'm g...

The wait, the software, the now

Okay, I know the philosophy on PHPBB2.2 is "it's done when it's done," but is there even any remote possibility that you could say "soon" or "not soon"? My forum is old, very old. I never had the chance to upgrade it because my server can't run those patch files, or I just didn't know how. It's a he...

I have also noticed that with Tuna's method (didn't try it with the other, but I assume it works the same), if you quote an image, even if it's not more than the value you have it set it, it will stretch the quote box out.. For example, my message area is 490 pixels wide. I have my image max set to ...

Still looking for a way to get rid of those vertical scrollbars on Tuna's mod. ;)
