Re: [BETA] SimpleChat v2.0 - new AJAX chat for phpBB3

It looks like the code comments are getting scrambled when I transfer the folder to my server. It doesn't like that the comments are in another language. :(

Re: Remove ads for some users?

You may even be able to get away with this <!-- IF not S_GROUP_7 or not S_GROUP_5 or not S_GROUP_4 --> ad code <!-- ENDIF --> That may and may not work...haven't tried it. Thanks for the "Thanks" Steve! :) PHPBB uses "and" logic. This WILL work. ;) <!-- IF not S_GROUP_7 and not S_GROUP_5 and not S_...

Re: [BETA] SimpleChat v2.0 - new AJAX chat for phpBB3

Looks great. But I'm having some issues. I ran the sql commands and uploaded the chat folder to the example.com directory and the example.com/forum directory; but I'm still seeing a blank screen.

Please help
Thanks!

Re: Undefined Index error from auth.php

I created a temporary group to create these specific forum permissions. However, I really would like to give these permissions specifically to the user.

Re: [HELP] Weird Errors thrown in ACP

I have tried turning off the user and group modules and then reseting the cache. This does not fix it.

Re: Forum unbearably slow - Please help, Thanks!

I don't understand why the home page forum loads so fast; but it takes an unbelievable amount of time to post something or sometimes view a topic.

Re: Forum unbearably slow - Please help, Thanks!

Just a suggestion as we have just found why our forum was slow, try removing the Thankyou mod, as for some reason yet unknown this mod caused the private traffic between our server and our sql server to increase by 20 times. I'm happy that you used your first post on this board to help me out. ;) W...

Re: Forum unbearably slow - Please help, Thanks!

Not very accurate but on average how many people do you have online at any moment? I was running a forum on 128MB with little issue and 30-40 people online constantly 100 people on average. 512 should be ample RAM for hundreds of users. I posed the theoretical question in my hosts forum about how m...

Re: [DEV]Thanks MOD 0.4.0 [works with PHPBB3 Gold]_Small Fix

I tried that as well. I'm still getting either the same damn memory issue or the page won't load at all. It actually shuts down the server! I have to restart it every time.
